Hello everyone, it’s almost time for the fall season, “Witch” is the best one of all, do you see what I did there? In this class we will be learning/practicing our 1st/2nd grade math skills every week. Here is the schedule for the following weeks: Week one(August 14)-Subtraction with pictures. Week two(August 21st)-Figuring out the missing addends. Week three (August 28)- Number order. Writing out the numbers from smallest to largest and largest to smallest. I will not have class September 2-6. Week four (September 7)- One more, two more. Write the number that comes after. Week five(September 11) -Which one is the least number? Week six(September 18)- Addition facts Week Seven (September 25) -Subtraction facts Week Eight (October 2)- Fact families, write problems using the numbers I give you. Week nine (October 9)- Numbers that come before and after. Week ten(October 16)-Comparing numbers and practicing writing the more or less signs. Week 11 (October 23)- Make numbers, For example: Use two given numbers to make the number 7. Week 12- (October 30)- True or False. Do the numbers add up correctly? Week 13- (November 6)- Learn how to tell the time on the clock and write it. Week 14- (November 13)- Skip counting by 2. Week 15- (November 20)- Writing Number words. Week 16- (November 27)- Odd or even. Also addition and subtraction practice. Please make sure students bring pencil and paper to class and I will also be sending worksheets every week. Students do not have to print them if they choose not to because I will be screen sharing. Nothing gory or scary will be shown in this class. Only cute pictures of pumpkins, bats, etc. I like to make learning math as simple as possible for the student in a relaxed environment. I hope to see your child in this class! Feel free to message me for any times you would like, I am flexible. Learners can jump in and out of class any week they like because they don’t need to follow up from the week before. If we have time after class, we will play fun math games.
