Join Rozine’s Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Art Class for a fun-filled, spooky season! Kids will dive into the world of drawing and coloring with a focus on festive jack-o-lanterns. From creepy to cheerful faces, Rozine will guide students step-by-step through creating their own Halloween masterpieces. In this engaging class, kids will learn to draw various jack-o-lantern expressions and finish their artwork with colorful details. Please see class photo for the three faces we will learn to draw. Rozine will introduce shading and texturing techniques using colored pencils and demonstrate neat coloring methods to avoid scribbling. Students can use their favorite coloring tools, including markers, crayons, and colored pencils, and may outline their work with Sharpie markers upon approval. This course provides a creative environment where kids can enhance fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, and self-expression. While the primary focus is on drawing, students are encouraged to complete their coloring at home, fostering artistic growth and creative problem-solving. Please note that this class features Halloween-themed art, which may include spooky elements such as jack-o-lanterns with various facial expressions. While we encourage creative self-expression and aim to make the experience fun, we understand that some children may find certain themes unsettling. We recommend considering your child’s comfort with Halloween-related content before enrolling. Our goal is to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for all students.
Supply List
Students will need either a sketchpad, or 5-10 sheets of drawing or printer paper. Pencils and erasers are a must. Coloring utensils can be crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers. A Sharpie marker is optional. Students can frame their artwork by stapling or taping it to a larger sheet of colored construction paper (also optional).

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Since 2006, she has taught cartooning classes in both Chicago and Los Angeles, fostering a supportive and engaging environment.
