Homework
1 hour per week. I encourage but do not require individual practice. Homework will typically involve practicing exercises, songs, or theory concepts. To maximize progress, I recommend short, focused practice sessions of about 5 minutes each, spread out 3-5 times throughout the week. This approach helps reinforce learning and build consistency without overwhelming the student.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
If the student's goal consists of learning a song containing sensitive lyrics, I will communicate this to the parent and seek permission to continue before moving forward with that goal.
Supply List
Students will need a guitar (acoustic, classical, or electric) and should have regular access to it between lessons. If the student's goals or plan consist of recording, they will need a device or other software to record. I suggest using whatever recording software is already available on any device from home such as GarageBand or Voice Memos. Another great option is using the free web-based recording software found at Soundtrap.com. These details can be discussed during or after the first lesson.
