In this ongoing class, beginners will learn the basics of acoustic guitar playing.

Class Experience

Beginner Level

In this ongoing beginner guitar class, we will learn to play songs and chords. Absolutely no experience is necessary and you can come in and out of class at any time. 

Sample schedule for the first 4 weeks of class:
Week of November 28 - The E strings - Learn the highest and lowest strings and the sounds they make
Week of December 5 - The B string - What notes are on the B string? How do we know what fret to go to in order to change the sound?
Week of December 12 - Chords - Some guitar...

Students will learn basic guitar skills along with basic music notation as it applies to guitar. Each week will have a different focus and each class will stand alone so that learners will not miss out if they miss a class.

Learners MUST have an appropriate size guitar, either 3 or 6 string. Please message before enrolling with any questions.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
