Beginner Level
In these one on one guitar lessons, students will learn a variety of topics based on their skills and interests such as note reading, music theory, chords, lead guitar, scales, care and cleaning of the instrument, music composition and more! The lessons include warm ups, technical studies, performance songs and games. I use a student centered teaching approach that focuses on the students interests and passions to inspire them towards excellence.
Learning Goals
Students will be able to explain and execute music theory skills appropriate to their skill level.Students will be able to play with appropriate technique and sound quality.

Students will need their own guitar and purchase various music for lessons.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

In our lessons, you can expect to learn the basics of the guitar using a variety of music such as lead sheets and guitar tabs. Music will be chosen based on student ability and interest!
