Do you have a student that struggles math or thinks it’s boring? If so I have the class for you! Each week students will practice different basic math skills that 1st graders should be confident in completing. Often math is taught solely with meaningless numbers. In this class the numbers will come alive with stories, visuals and energetic interaction. *** Try your first week with a $7 discount by using the coupon code: SCHOO7OFFMATH7 All students are welcome in this safe place. We love our Neurodiverse students and work hard to provide an inclusive environment for all as I, (Teacher Greg) am I a Neurodiverse teacher with a Neurodiverse son. Ages listed for this class are simply suggestions. Every student is unique and have different needs at different ages. Ages are flexible and all are welcome. Each week we will introduce a new lesson topic. To help students understand and master the topics being taught, lessons will follow a “I do”, “we do”, “you do” approach. This means that I will do math problems to show students how it is done. Then we as a class will do some together. Finally through the use of pdf worksheets that I will provide each week students can work through one their own after class. You can feel free to have an adult help you send the teacher a photos of your worksheets if you’d like to have your work checked. Every Sunday, worksheets will be posted in the classroom page as a pdf for the next week to be printed for class. The first class of the week we will introduce the lesson topic for the week. The second class of the week we will review and extend the lesson to reinforce the learning. A worksheet will be provided for you to have additional practice on you own of what we learned in class. As a father to two active boys, I know that learning must be fun. The early years of a child’s education is critical not only for their future success but also their enjoyment of learning. I want to start kids off right on this journey. I have a BA with over a decade experience teaching children. I have over 5 years of experience teaching children on online platforms as well as two year of teaching in public schools. I pride myself on never letting kids get bored yet always be learning. I previously held to credentials through the State of Ohio Department of Education (now expired). I have a passion for helping children succeed.
