Students learn the most versatile language of python . Python uses open libraries which makes it easier to implement and learn. In this class students will get started on the basic of text based coding. You do not need to install python if the learner is 13 years or above but for learners below 13 years of age , please install VS code on the laptop : https://code.visualstudio.com/ , as Outschool does not allow Replit for young learners. . It would work well if student knows how to switch screens while using zoom. The teacher will demonstrate and explain the logic of coding first and then ask the student to follow. Class 1: Setting up Python , learning how to create new file and saving it. Hello Python ! Class 2: Understanding basic terms like strings and integers and comparison operators to use them Class 3: Loops and user defined functions Class 4: Dictionaries and Output This class requires students to work with the teacher in parallel on their computers. Using 2 devices is optional.

For learners over 13 years of age, we will be using an online editor where they need a free signup using their email id. The teacher will share her screen during the class.
