The class will start of by going over a Fortnite guide that will help the students answer questions later on. The teacher provide the students with a story problem and the teacher will walk-through how to solve the problem with them. Based on the number of learners per class the student will work on a few other problems alone or in group in the breakout rooms. The students will then rejoin at the end of the lesson and go over the answers. The teacher will let different students show their work to explain how they came up with their answers. Students can agree or disagree with the other learners and a discussion will be made. At the end of the lesson, the students will create their own story problems to build something in fortnite using the guide provided.

Other Details

Teacher expertise and credentials
I think students sometimes struggle with math especially story problems. If the story problems connects to the students lives they are more out to be interested and engaged in the work they are doing. I have taught math in a classroom setting and I believe I have the knowledge and passion to do it here.
