Students will analyze, discuss, breakdown and solve integer, age, area, perimeter and work word problems. Students will be given the problem solving plan and are guided to the set-up and solution of each word problem with step-by-step detailed instructions and explanations. This will be an engaging, interactive class where discussion and questions are welcomed.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to be confident in approaching and solving word problems.Students will learn to sharpen their analytical and reading comprehension skills as they translate words in English to algebraic expressions and equations.Other Details
Pre-Requisites
Students should be proficient in solving one and two-step equations.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
