Class Experience

Frogs are amphibians that are known for their jumping abilities, croaking sounds, bulging eyes and slimy skin. But... did you know they have some of the most amazing abilities of the animal kingdom? Some can secrete poison while others grow their babies IN THEIR BACKS! And, that's not all they have up their sleeves.

In this class, we will discuss:

- How frogs evolved
- Where frogs are found
- What kind of frogs there are
- What adaptations frogs have
- What threats frogs face

Learners will be introduced to these topics within herpetology via an interactive lecture featuring slides, photos, and videos.

Learning Goals

Students will learn about the biology, taxonomy, and evolution of frogs.
