In this course, students will be given guided practice problems to factor polynomials, including binomials and trinomials. This should not be the student's first exposure to this mathematical operation. Students will be given immediate feedback, guided error correction, and reteaching as needed during the class. Strategies such as using inverse operations to find answers will be demonstrated as needed. Students should have a basic understanding of multiplying binomials and using the distributive property of multiplication before attending this class.
