What's included

1 live meeting
1 in-class hours
Homework
1 hour per week. Students will be given worksheets to print out after the class to reinforce their learning. Because this class meets weekly, this is optional. The student has the choice to send their homework to me to look over if they want to. They will get a vocabulary list that goes over everything they have studied.
Assessment
I do not routinely give an assessment at the end of the class. However, if a student or parent would like an assessment, they may request one by emailing me.

Class Experience

Have you ever been to Japan and gotten stuck? Do you want to go to Japan, but are too scared because you don't know the language? Well, have no fear, this series will definitely help you. This course will bring you essential Japanese that you need to comfortably travel, as well as, provide you with some history and culture behind the words.

I really wish I'd had this series before I went to live in Japan. I was thrown into Japanese life without any help, not knowing what to say or how to respond to situations. I probably made many mistakes. But with this Japanese course, you won't be making the same mistakes that I did.

You will be able to:

Week 1:

1. Train
       -Learn how to exchange money
-Learn how to locate and work the fair adjustment machine
-Learn how to ask if a train is going somewhere and the response is on the opposite side
-Learn how to know about three of four different train stations
       - Learn how to find out how to change trains

Plus, as an extra bonus, I will throw in some interesting facts about the words you are learning called Sam's fun facts; something that other courses probably won't mention

There is a pre-requisite. You will need to either know the content in the Essential Japanese for Travel Class 1, 2 and 3 or have taken the class.
