Description
Class Experience
In this 4 week course, students will work one on one with a certified reading specialist. Classes will meet once a week for 55 minutes. Please email to set up a time.I will reach out before the first class to gain knowledge of your child's reading needs. Each course will be individualized based on student need. Diagnostic assessments may be used to gain further knowledge in reading needs. Areas that may be covered include phonological awareness, phonics, sight words, fluency, vocabulary...
Students will build confidence to be successful readers and close gaps in reading.
Students will receive practice materials after each session. Students will be asked to read between sessions.
Teacher observation & assessment
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
