Dungeons and Dragons 103: Creating Memorable D&D Characters

Dungeons and Dragons is a collaborative role-playing and storytelling experience which stretches students' creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and so much more. After completing Intro to D&D 101: The Basics and 102: First Play-Through (or having some experience with D&D), students are ready to develop characters. Character creation is an in-depth and often confusing (yet tremendously rewarding) process but we will work through step-by-step to be sure every student understands the process and how each aspect matters and is determined. The entire process will be interactive as students make decisions, determine aspects of characters, and ask questions of me. By the end of this course, students will understand the character-creation process, will have a fully fleshed-out character, and will be ready to join a campaign with this character.
