In this class the students will learn to draw the USA in a easy step-by-step approach while also learning the states/capitals and regional facts with a fun interactive game!

Each day we will learn about 10 new states. We will start each class by learning how to draw these 10 new states in a an easy step-by-step approach. After drawing the states, I will share with the students interesting facts about the states in this region and what they are known for (historic landmarks, food, etc.) We will will then review past States/Capitals that we have drawn and learned about from the the previous weeks and play an interactive review game. (Although this is an ongoing class, new students could easily jump right in, too!) By the final day of class students will have a full map of the United States that they have drawn by hand! Day 1 Maine, Vermont, Hew Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware Day 2 Maryland, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, Wisconsin Day 3 Tennessee, North Carolina,South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Arkansas, Louisiana, Hawaii Day 4 Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alaska Day 5 Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and California

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Bull and I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I taught for a few years in the local public school system as a Kindergarten teacher and an RTI instructor.
After having my own three children, I took the path of homeschooling them and have appreciated all of the wonderful opportunities we have been able to experience through this style of learning. I currently am the Registrar at our local homeschool co-op and teach classes there as well.
I believe that all children have the capacity to learn, and they do best when they are able to take charge of their own learning and pursue their passions. My hope is to encourage a love of learning in each student I teach.
