CertificateClass Experience
In this 8-week course, students will explore the art, history, and culture of China through drawing and storytelling. Each week, we’ll focus on a new landmark, object, or symbol from Chinese culture—such as the Great Wall, pandas, or dragons—and discuss its historical and cultural significance. Students will follow a step-by-step drawing lesson to create their own line art, which they can color and customize outside of class. This course is designed to be interactive and engaging. We’ll start each session with a brief discussion or slide presentation about the week’s topic to spark curiosity and provide context. During the drawing portion, I’ll guide students step-by-step, encouraging them to ask questions, share ideas, and put their own creative spin on their work. My teaching style is supportive and student-centered, allowing learners to explore their creativity while building confidence in their drawing skills. Interaction is a key part of the experience—students can share their progress, ask for help, and discuss what they’ve learned with me and their classmates. This class is perfect for young artists who love hands-on activities and want to learn about a different culture in a fun and creative way!
