Description
Class Experience
High and low will be the focus of this introductory lesson. We will also learn many songs and movements that will reinforce steady beat, pitch, language skills, physical coordination, math, science, and kindness. A true musical treasure chest!
I am a teacher who is often described as energetic, fun, engaging, worldly, loving, creative, and kind. For 22 years, I have taught music in Preschool to 6th grade, and have worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching culminates from an eclectic journey through many countries, yet rooted in my own. In my class, we celebrate differences, appreciate similarities, and learn that we are each an incredible part of our musical community. We learn, laugh, and create beautiful music together!
There is no homework... but a little birdie told me that your child may want to sing their songs over and over again!
Please bring something to shake (maraca, shaker egg, container with rice).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
