Class experience
Let's train your brain while we blow your mind! Are you a detective? Do you like solving mysteries? Many of the games we play will have hidden rules. You will need to use your 21st century skills to find the secrets in how to play each game. Of course, we will begin each class with more traditional brain games too - riddles, optical illusions, word puzzles, tongue twisters, and so much more! Your brain will get a workout while you have fun thinking critically, creatively, logically,...
So much is learned through play. Playing mind games together creates practice for self esteem, social skills, empathy, and wonder. They also aid in developing many 21st century skills, memory, attention, focus, comprehension, creativity, problem solving skills, spatial awareness, and brain speed. One also learns how to be challenged, and persevere to find the answer/truth. The power of play truly is a superpower!
Hi - My name is Amy Spiess-Ki and I cannot wait to teach your child! I started my brain game journey as a child, and then as a Camp Counselor for 6 years. We played a gazillion games under the sun! I learned to incorporate many of them into my classroom. They are tried and true classics, played and learned by so many children in my music room! While I was a Camp Counselor, I also obtained my Masters of Music Education degree, and since I have taught over 20,000 children in just over 20 years! I enjoy working with children, seeing the magic in every child I teach, and experiencing joy together! Let's grow our brains together... Let's play!
