What’s included
Homework
1 hour per week. The activity sheets are best if done in the end. However, the student is free to do them as they go. In each video, the teacher asks the learner to write that specific day of the week times.Assessment
When students submit their work through Outschool (pictures or files), the teacher will give them feedback.Class Experience
US Grade Preschool - 1
Learners will learn and practice the days of the week. Ms. Lambert uses association with Mario characters, as well as the initial letters of the characters and the days of the week to teach learners the days of the week. There will be 8 video links in the class material. The videos are accessible with one direct click. Each video corresponds to one day of the week, plus a final video with all days in sequence. Each video has explanations and assignments. The teacher asks the learners to re-watch the videos as many times as needed until the days of the week are completely learned. The teacher also asks the students to practice writing the days of the week. As a way of giving feedback and assessing the student's progress, the teacher asks (through the video) that the students send her a picture of their writing. Other PDFs are attached with extra activities to challenge the student to put the days of the week in order, write each day through tracing, and cut and paste each day's character in the sequence. This is a suggested pace for learning (parents are free to do it differently): Week 1 - Watch Sunday and Monday videos. Start working on "Missing Letter" and "Tracing" activities. Send written words to the teacher for feedback. Week 2 - Watch Tuesday and Wednesday videos. Continue working on "Match and write" and "Tracing" activities. Send written words to the teacher for feedback. Week 3 - Watch Thursday and Friday videos. Continue working on "Match and write" and "Tracing" activities. Send written words to the teacher for feedback. Week 4 - Watch Saturday and "All Days of the Week" videos. Finish working on "Match and write" and "Tracing" activities. Work on the "Mario Calendar" activity. Send completed activities and written words to the teacher for feedback. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Keywords: Pre-K, Kindergarten, Days of the Week, Super Mario Brothers, pre-school, life skills, easy learning, class for kids, early learning, curriculum
Learning Goals
Students will learn the days of the week: first, one at a time, associating each day with a Super Mario character. Then, in sequence, with a specific video that should be reviewed as many times as the student needs until they know how to say all of the days of the week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi! I’m Ms. Lambert, a Star Educator on Outschool since 2020, a professional actor, director, and educator, and a mother of two (ages 10 and 13). I teach improv, acting, social clubs, and discussion-based classes that help students build confidence, creativity, and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment.
With a background in theater, film, and storytelling, I love creating interactive and engaging learning experiences for all students—whether they’re outgoing, shy, or somewhere in between. I also speak multiple languages and enjoy exploring different cultures, which often inspire my classes. My passion for philosophy, books, and world events fuels dynamic conversations where students can think critically and express themselves freely.
I believe learning should be collaborative, inclusive, and fun—a space where students feel safe to share ideas, take creative risks, and connect with others. Whether through acting exercises, thought-provoking discussions, or casual social clubs, my goal is to create a welcoming and engaging space where every student’s voice is valued.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading, writing, playing video games with my kids, or enjoying the beach. I love storytelling in all forms—whether through books, movies, or improv scenes. I can’t wait to meet your learner and help them build confidence, make friends, and have fun in my classes! 😊
