Students will practice how to breakdown a story problem to identify what they know and what they need to find. Students will practice how to make a plan to solve a math problem. Students will practice writing a complete answer. Students will practice explaining their math process verbally and in written form.
I have over ten years of experience teaching elementary math in public schools. I also have training in guided math discussions or math talks as well as in best practices for math instruction for elementary students.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
