Students will learn through watching the teacher demonstrate the stitches. Feedback will come from the instructor by watching the students create the stitches. Stitches learned during this course include: treble crochet, puff crochet, cluster crochet, and v double crochet. Students to sign up for this class should have some basic knowledge of crochet, including knowledge on how to hold yarn and how to make a foundation chain. It is helpful if the student knows basic crochet stitches such as single crochet, double crochet, and half double crochet, because these more advanced stitches will build off of those basic crochet stitches. If students learn the stitches in less than the 4 weeks aloud for the class, the instructor will lead them through a project pattern. Week 1: treble crochet Week 2: cluster crochet Week 3: v double crochet Week 4: puff crochet

Teacher expertise and credentials
Good Day. My name is Jamie Ross, and I love to teach. I also love to learn. But I gain my biggest joy from seeing kids "get it" and enjoy learning. I have worked with elementary and middle school aged children for seven years. I specialize in all topic in language arts/English: grammar, writing, reading, ESL. I believe that if you meet students where they are, you can bring them to where you need them to be. I currently tutor for my local school district and tutor in the evenings on the side, including all ages PK-12. I love to make leaning fun for my students. I am also a current graduate student, studying for my Master of Arts in English. My ultimate goal is to teach at the collegiate level.
