With just a pencil, ruler, and paper, young artists will unleash their imagination and design unique structures. This is a weekly recurring class. The content does not build. - Learners will build confidence drawing a variety of structures while learning a variety of drawing techniques. The principles of art and elements of design are highlighted in each lesson.
I have been an art educator for over 25 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Art Education (K-12) from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have taught in public schools, private schools, as well as homeschool co-op groups and private lessons. I am an Outschool ACE Educator and have been teaching on the Outschool platform since August of 2021.
Assessment
Frequency: 3-6 throughout the classDetails: Artists are welcome to share their drawings at various points throughout each lesson. If a learner needs assistance, I will offer advice to help ensure they get back on track before moving onto the next step.
I'm dedicated to tailoring my approach to accommodate the individual needs of each learner, ensuring a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
