🎨 Welcome to the world of mixed media art! This private class can be taken as a one-time class or as often as you like. Please send me a direct message to inquire about setting up a class time for your learner. After we arrange a time that works for your learner, I will send you a direct link to enroll. Please make sure your learner has the supplies required for this class. Also, have supplies ready to go at the beginning of the class so we can jump into creating our masterpiece at the start of the class time. What to expect in each class: We start our creative journey with a step-by-step drawing. I guide your learner to "think like an artist" as they create their own unique artwork. We'll explore a variety of art mediums, and I'll demonstrate a variety of techniques throughout the lesson. Learners will experiment with a wide variety of watercolor techniques: wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, lift-off, line-wash, underpainting, wax-resist & more! This class is all about your child, offering one-on-one attention to boost their artistic confidence. I will be sure to highlight the elements of art and principles of design in each lesson. When it’s time to paint, we will dive into color theory. We will also discuss fun facts related to the subject of the painting. Creating mixed media art offers many benefits: ✅Experimenting with different art mediums encourages creativity. ✅Mixing art mediums boosts decision-making skills and builds confidence. ✅Your child will discover their unique art style, making every creation special. ✅Mixing art mediums provides an opportunity for self-expression. ✅Encourages inventive thinking that extends beyond the art classroom. The one-on-one setting ensures personalized attention, making it perfect for learners seeking individualized support. This class is also well-suited for ESL students, introverted learners, or those with unique learning needs—I'm happy to adapt my lesson to your learner. The atmosphere in my classroom is laid-back and encouraging, providing a safe space for questions and creative expression.
