Architecture Drawing Club - Explore the World's Landmarks! 🏰 Welcome to the 'Architecture Drawing Club,' a perfect class for learners with a passion for sketching buildings, bridges, and landscapes! Join our weekly class where we sketch famous landmarks from around the globe. All you need is a pencil, ruler, and a sheet of paper! Please note that while this class is an enrichment club, it is also an intensive drawing class with teacher-led instruction and continuous guidance throughout each lesson. The class moves at a fast pace. What to Expect: ✏️ Guided Drawing: Led by step-by-step instructions, learners will focus on lines, shapes, and surrounding details, occasionally incorporating vanishing points for added depth. This is a 40 minute teacher-led narrated drawing. 🌐 Global Perspective: A new landmark every week! Learners explore many different architectural styles. I usually choose places that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Landmarks may be repeated at some point, but the perspective and approach will always be unique. 📈 Paced Learning: The class moves at a quick pace, providing minimal downtime between steps. Beginners are welcome, but note that the pace ensures active engagement throughout the entire 40-minute class. 🖥️ Interactive Feedback: Learners provide a thumbs up (or down) at various points during the lesson, helping to indicate that they are on track or if they need additional help. 🏛️ Architectural Insights: Beyond drawing techniques, we will discuss interesting facts and the architectural style of each landmark. 🔸 Class Size: Limited to 6 learners, I maintain a focused and personalized environment. 🔸 Age Recommendation: Ideal for learners 11 years and older due to the class's quick pace. Age exceptions considered based on the learner's ability level. If your learner is under the age of 11 years old, please send me a message, I want to ensure that this class would be a good fit. 📹 Camera Policy: While camera-on is preferred, this class is camera-off friendly. Learners must check in with their camera on at the beginning of each class before turning off their camera. I will open the classroom one minute before the class start time to allow learners to check in. ⏰ Punctuality Matters: The class starts promptly, and being on time is important. Latecomers or absent students may watch the playback recording. 🚀 Pausing a learner's subscription does not save their spot in the class. As I maintain a class size limit of 6, I cannot hold spots or guarantee when one will become available again. All class enrollments are on a first come, first serve basis. Thank you for your understanding. Ready to draw the world's wonders? Join us for an artistic adventure!🌟 Weekly focus: Week of November 10th-16th: Pile Gate: entrance in old town of Dubrovnik, Croatia Week of November 17th-23rd: Narrows Bridge, Mount Rainier Week of November 24th-30th: Himeji Castle, Japan Week of December 1st-7th: The Shard, United Kingdom Week of December 8th-14th: Tower of Hercules, Spain Week of December 15th-21st: Blenheim Palace, United Kingdom Week of December 22nd-28th: Sleeping Beauty's Castle, Disneyland, CA Week of December 29th-January 4th: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, UAE Week of January 5th-11th: Guggenheim Museum Week of January 12th-18th: East Building, National Gallery of Art Week of January 19th-25th: Siwi Oasis Week of January 26th-February 1st: Lazzaretto, Italy Week of February 2nd-8th: Stonehenge Memorial, Maryhill, Washington Week of February 9th-15th: London Eye Week of February 16th-22nd: Grand Canyon Week of February 23rd-March 1st: Villa Capra Week of March 2nd-8th: Castle of the White Heron Week of March 9th-15th: Palace of Knossos Week of March 16th-22nd: Forbidden City (viewpoint 2) Week of March 23rd-29th: Abbey of Melk, Austria Week of March 30th-April 5th: Chartres Cathedral, France Week of April 6th-12th: Yoyogi National Sports Center, Tokyo Week of April 13th-19th: Palace of Versailles Week of April 20th-26th: Temple of Heaven, Beijing Week of April 27th- May 3rd: Eiffel Tower Week of May 4th-10th: Stonehenge Week of May 11th-17th: Independence Hall Week of May 18th-24th: Harlech Castle, Wales Week of May 25th-31st: The Citadel of Qaitbay, Egypt Week of June 1st-7th: Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany Week of June 8th-14th: Mont-Saint-Michel, France Week of June 15th-21st: Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Japan Week of June 22nd-28th: Alhambra, Spain Week of June 29th-July 5th: Red Fort Complex, India Week of July 6th-12th: Ruins of Kilwa Kisiwani and Songo Mnara, Tanzania Week of July 13th-19th: Castel del Monte, Italy Week of July 20th-26th: Palace of Versailles, France Week of July 27th-August 2nd: Medici Villas and Gardens, Italy Week of August 3rd-9th: Roskilde Cathedral, Denmark Week of August 10th-16th: Wawel Castle, Poland Week of August 17th-23rd: Bryggen, Norway Week of August 24th-30th: The Kremlin and Red Square, Russia Week of August-September 6th: Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, China Week of September 7th-13th: El Castillo, Mexico (to be continued....) ***PAST DRAWINGS***At some point, I may circle back and do an alternate viewpoint.
