In this ongoing drawing club learners will work from reference of classic and antique motor vehicles to explore the following art concepts: Perspective Shading Shape and Space Form Light and Shadow Learners are welcome to work in any dry media they prefer such as pencil, pen, marker, coloured pencil, or a combination of materials. Learners in this program should be comfortable sharing work and being on camera as this will be our main method of communication. Learners should have some drawing experience and be welcoming of positive and constructive feedback from co-learners. Every week we will look draw a new motor vehicle and learners who intend to attend for multiple weeks may want to consider a dedicated sketchbook.

Learners will want to come to class with dry media such as pencils, pens, markers, pencils crayons, etc Learners will want sketch paper and an eraser , ruler is optional.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

----> Mrs. Ross will be running self paced courses through Summer 2024. Mrs. Ross's live classes, lessons, and tutoring for the 2024/25 school year will begin during the second week of September. Spots are filling up so please inquire as early as possible. Fall schedule will be solidified Mid August for the following fall term.

Sharon is a professional fine artist/illustrator who has been teaching studio curriculum on Outschool for 5 years . Prior to bringing her art and art technique programs to Outschool she taught in schools, community centers, and private studios dating back to 2006.
Sharon has illustrated FOUR published children’s books, as well as a few that never made it to print. Check out her newest picture book "Refin Builds A Rocket Ship".
When she isn’t sharing her passion for the arts with learners on Outschool Sharon is creating work in as many different mediums as she can get her hands on.. Sharon's classes are rooted in Reggio philosophies and strives to equip learners with the tools they need to be successful in AND outside the classroom.
