Class Experience
Writing a paragraph does not need to be difficult or boring! Join me in this 5-week class to learn how to write a Personal Narrative paragraph! In each class, learners will follow along with an engaging lesson before they practice the skills they learn. This "building blocks" approach will break down the paragraph writing steps to give learners a formula that they can use in all of their future writing! The learning goals of this class are to provide learners with the skills and resources needed to write a personal narrative paragraph on any given topic.
Learners will be given optional homework assignments to strengthen their understanding of the material from class. This homework can be turned in for feedback and/or grading. If you wish for your learner's work to be graded, please let me know!
Learners will need pencils and paper. Resources will be posted to the classroom to print. Learners may also need access to research materials, such as websites, books, magazines, etc.
Assessments will be mostly informal in class through feedback. Formal assessments and/or graded rubrics can be used when requested by parents.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
