In this 9-week course, learners will have the chance to discover a number of different fields in Forensic Science. They will learn about the field, and they will also have the chance to complete labs/activities that relate to each of the fields that they learn about. Each lesson will come with a video, worksheet, and activity. All work completed can be submitted for feedback and/or grades!

9 Lessons
over 9 WeeksLesson 1:
Crime Scene Investigation
In this lesson, you will take on the role of a crime scene investigator. You will learn the main responsibilities of a CSI and complete some of the tasks they might do in the field!
Lesson 2:
Blood Spatter Analysis
In this lesson, you will learn about what analysists can learn from blood spatter found at a scene. You will even make your own blood and perform experiments!
Lesson 3:
Fingerprint Analysis
In this lesson, you will take a closer look at something that is unique to each and every one of us: our fingerprints!
Lesson 4:
Forensic Anthropologist
In this lesson, you will take on the role of a Forensic Anthropologist who is attempting to put together skeletal remains!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
The material in this course is geared towards the middle grades, however it can still be considered sensitive. Students will always have the option to skip a lab if they are uncomfortable with the material.
