***This is a self-guided, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE class with NO live meetings.*** During this course students will learn how to make dog agility equipment using PVC pipe. Each week students will learn how to make a new piece to their agility course. Students will be encouraged to practice teaching their dog to use that new item during the week. After the video of the week is uploaded I will upload a video of my dog(s) using the equipment. I will demonstrate how I teach my dog(s) to use the...
I think it's really important to challenge a dogs mind, and to keep them active. I myself am disabled with mobility problems. This limits some of the exercise I can give my dogs. Agility is an easy thing for those with mobility problems to have fun with and to allow their dogs some one on one time, mental stimulation and exercise. My daughter and I not only utilize the equipment ourselves, but we have made multiple sets and sell them locally.
Each set takes approximately 10-20 minutes to make.
See class description for the complete supply list.
No live meetings, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will use sharp cutting devices (saw or PVC cutter) to make the agility course. Videos are uploaded to you tube, they are set for kids, so there are no ads with the video. They are listed as unlisted so students will only be able to view them with the link listed in the classroom each week.
