It is recommended that students take some time exploring blender, every nook and cranny. If there is a tool you have not heard of? Try it and understand what it does.Class Experience
*Learners must be acquainted with Blender on a basic level* At this stage upon entering my lecture, you will already have a basic understanding of Blender... So it begs the question, now what? Well...plenty actually, as you will soon learn there's a lot of hidden and very useful gems in Blender and I will be opening your eyes/minds to them. This class will go beyond the general foundations of Blender and offer new tools, techniques, tips and tricks to learn on a weekly basis. Instead of taking hours to produce the idea of your model, we will aim to cut down that time, whether it be by seconds, minutes or even hours. No one class will be the same and you will most definitely acquire new knowledge every week. Class topics will tend to be a mixed bag and may include: Modelling, Sculpting, Rigging, Animation etc. Bare in mind not all skills will be covered in a single class. The students will be taught through demonstration/following step by step guidance. My screen display is to be shared to the class as I showcase tips and tricks and mark it's possibilities for other ideas. Students can ask whenever it is necessary and perhaps encouraged to share their own tips and tricks to the rest of the students. March 10th: Bring a mountain to your scene March 17th: Animate grass March 24th: Texture a building using one picture March 31st: Create a Sci-Fi Ship Once the last class of this course has been concluded, the course will loop back to the first topic. Some class topics may be replaced while favourite topics will be prolonged for a longer time.
