Description

Class Experience

Students will learn more about Black history than they knew before beginning the class.
I am a certified history teacher. I am certified in grades 2-12. I love studying history of all sorts and have taken many different types of history courses including African American history. I have taught Geography, World History, Black History, Ancient Cultures and US History. I’ve also had great experiences teaching this flex class as a live class.
Since this is a flex class, students will go through the recordings, edpuzzle videos and quizizz for the lessons. Students will present a final project/visual at the end that they will receive feedback on. This will be submitted to me before being posted for the group to see. There will also be Edpuzzle videos and quizizz to help with learning and reviewing the content.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
  • Edpuzzle
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Each week will have a recording of the content, an Ed puzzle video and quizizz that has the information provided for the week.
