Class Experience

Intermediate - Advanced Level
Welcome to Advanced Veterinary Science 1!

In this self-paced, version of one our most popular advanced veterinary science courses. Students will receive recorded lessons and supplemental videos to explore a variety of topics that are related to small animal veterinary medicine. (Cats, dogs, etc).

This version of Introduction to Veterinary Science is asynchronous, which means there are no live meetings! You do not have to log in at a specific day of the week, or time of day! This can be wonderful for learners outside of my time zone that have challenges with our available live class hours! This class is amazing, but probably not at midnight your time! LOL! Recorded lessons, additional carefully selected YouTube video links, and some question/answer prompts will be added to the virtual classroom on Outschool.com for the students to enjoy on your time and at their own pace!

Why might this be the best option for your learner/family?
Self-Paced classes may be a better option than a LIVE class because….
1.) The recorded videos have the EXACT SAME content as the live version of class... PLUS learners receive multiple carefully selected, safely embedded YouTube video links based on that current lesson topic for additional learning.
2.) You do not have to worry about/deal with poor internet connection, other students' behavior, schedule conflicts, vacations, holidays, etc.!
3.) Your learner can watch the videos whenever you want to! Then, they can re-watch the videos whenever they want to, and pause, skip, back up, slow down, speed up, in a whatever way works best for them!!
4.) There is as much time as you need between classes so learners can digest the information and ask any questions in the online classroom before moving on to the next lesson!

Learners should have either taken my Introduction to Veterinary Science class or have some basic knowledge of veterinary science.

There are no grades given in this course. Projects and worksheets are recommended but not required.
