This is the best way to begin grammar! Students find and correct mistakes in this ongoing, fun story. This class uses the IEW Grammar book, Nose Tree. It covers many grammar topics and can be found here: https://iew.com/shop/products/fix-it%E2%84%A2-grammar-level-1-nose-tree-student-book During the school year, this class will meet twice a week, which is an advanced pace. ****SUMMER 2023, this class will meet three times a week. Students will gradually improve their knowledge and correct usage of grammar and language. Parents should see improvement in students' writing over time.
Homework Offered
Students are welcome to work on the day's lesson ahead of time, but they don't have to. Parents may want to review the instructional pages with students in between the lessons. I highly suggest students copy each passage as IEW recommends, but I don't check it.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
