This class will be a mixture of personal practice on your own, play-alongs with me during class, and discussions. We will also be listening to a lot of recordings so that you are able to hear how the flute functions as a solo instrument and within an ensemble. We will also have challenges and games in order to test our knowledge throughout the course. A student should of course have a flute for this course, and I will be happy to give advice on what instrument to buy. There will also be a few...
Owning a flute is necessary for this course. If you need help with what flute to purchase please message me before enrolling your learner in the course. Lesson Materials will be recommended to learners and parents as the class progresses. Students may also be given files of materials each week.
