Class experience
No experience needed!!!! As a group we will learn ukulele basics and the 3 chords needed for our first song. Each class will start with a review (if applicable), an introduction of our new concept, and end with playing a song together. Solo performances in front of the group are completely optional. I am a certified K-12 instrumental music teacher in the state of Indiana. I have been teaching in the classroom for 7 years and privately for 6. I have held various week long music camps in person and through zoom for students ages 5 to adult.

All you need is a ukulele (no baritone ukulele, please), a clip on tuner (I recommend snark tuners $12), and your computer. I also like to use headphones but those are optional. Average soprano ukulele cost is $50 - $70. Toy ukuleles from 5 below or walmart are not acceptable instruments to use for this course. Message me for recommendations.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Worksheets will be provided.
