Learn to sing and play a new song each week in this ongoing intermediate ukulele club! Designed for young students who have had significant prior ukulele experience and are at the intermediate level. This class is a great way to build your song repertoire and confidence when playing ukulele and singing! We learn a wide variety of songs including children's songs, folk songs, pop songs, seasonal songs and songs from well-known tv shows and movies. This is an appropriate level class for students who have had significant previous ukulele experience, can play the C, F, Am, C7, G and G7 chords and are comfortable switching back and forth between chords. I highly recommend practicing and reviewing the C, F, Am, C7, G and G7 chords before enrolling in this class. We will learn new chords together too. Each week we will sing a Hello song to welcome everyone to class, practice ukulele technique and chords, learn how to sing and play a new song on the ukulele, finish with a Goodbye song and continue to develop our love of this fun instrument! Upcoming Songs: 8/15/24: I Ain’t Worried 8/29/24: On Top of the World and/or Sunroof 9/5/24: Life is a Highway Part 1 9/12/24: Life is a Highway Part 2 9/19/24: House of Gold 9/26/24: Lost Boy Part 1 10/3/24: Lost Boy Part 2 10/10/24:Counting Stars Part 1 10/17/24: Counting Stars Part 2 10/24/24: The Addams Family 11/7/24: My Favorite Things Part 1 11/14/24: My Favorite Things Part 2 11/21/24: Albuquerque Turkey Join in to sing and play for as many weeks as you like! *Please note: This class is not recommended for learners outside the age range and/or learners who have had no prior ukulele experience.*
