Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a one on one lesson for ukulele players from beginner to intermediate. The topics that are covered in the session depend on the student's experience with ukulele. Once we cover the basics I love teaching beginner music theory. I work with all ages by giving them encouragement and the confidence to continue playing the ukulele. Homework Offered
There will be suggested homework every week. The most important thing with learning to play music is to make it just that, 'play,' so I don't want kids to think of it as homework but to think of it as play. If what I suggest for homework sounds boring, we will think of creative ways together to make it more fun! Maybe we can apply the technique to a song you really love! Maybe that week you just play around with putting your fingers in different random places on the ukulele. The options are endless and as long as a learner is picking up the ukulele every week and 'PLAY'ing it in fun ways, this will help them immensely!0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
