US Grade 2 - 4
In this multi-day class learners will create an adorable axolotl paper pal using a toilet paper tube! While coloring and cutting, I will sprinkle in axolotl information and trivia questions. On day 1 we will meet the axolotls and color our template using the colors of our choosing. On day 2 we will cut out the axolotl and put together our pal. Learners will be given multiple views of the creation process to make it easy to follow along with the step by step live demonstration. While creating, learners will be able to watch live axolotls and talk about these amazing amphibians with other young enthusiasts. Creating paper pal is a fun and engaging activity. Learners will be asked to color, cut, and either tape or staple to assemble the parts. Parents are welcome to provide support as necessary. I just ask that they do so off camera. Please reach out to me via Outschool Conversations if you have any questions, or would like to discuss your learner prior to class.
Learning Goals
Learners will create a paper axolotl while discussing their characteristics and amazing adaptations.
