Class Experience

Is your learner excited about all things axolotl? This little aquatic salamander has captured the hearts of a lot of people so grab your axolotl plushes, toys, or other items you have collected and join one of my axolotl animal ambassadors for a snack time and activity that we will do.

Your learner will have a chance to ask questions, discuss axolotls with other learners, and sit back to watch one of my axolotl ambassadors. We'll also play some axolotl themed games & try axolotl crafts too.

This is very informal and axolotls will be rotated along with the snack given so each class will be different.

If you would like a class to learn about axolotls, please check out my class "Amazing Axolotls": https://outschool.com/classes/7df4251b-109c-4743-8bbc-b87eb011bcf7?refuid=GYakydsP

Hi! My name is Tanee Janusz and I have been an environmental educator and skilled animal keeper for over 25 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in Earth & Environmental Sciences and currently seeking my Master’s degree in Conservation Education. I am also a certified Master Naturalist and serve as a board member for my local chapter. Professionally I have worked as a zookeeper, in the education department at zoos/aquariums/nature centers, and also as an environmental educator for museums & a local university.

I currently own a small animal education outreach business and most of my ambassadors are rescues or owner surrendered animals. These are the animals you will meet in most of my classes.

My favorite animals are axolotls & snakes!
