Bachelor's Degree in Science from University of New Orleans
Hi! I’m Tanee Janusz, a passionate environmental educator and experienced animal keeper with over 25 years in the field. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Earth & Environmental Sciences and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Conservation Education. As a certified Master Naturalist and board member for my local chapter, I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for wildlife and conservation.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a zookeeper, environmental educator, and education specialist at zoos, aquariums, nature centers, museums, and universities. Now besides teaching on Outschool, I run my own animal education outreach business, where I introduce in-person students to my incredible ambassador animals—many of whom are rescues or owner surrenders.
In my classes, students get to meet and learn about fascinating creatures up close, fostering a deeper appreciation for the natural world. And if you’re wondering—yes, my favorite animals are axolotls and snakes!
I can’t wait to share my love of wildlife with your child!
