Join us for a public holiday party the week after Christmas! These sessions will include a Snaxolotl Live Axolotl Feeding, Crafts-a-lotl Creation Time with a holiday theme, and a plays-olotl game of the groups choosing. The goal of these get togethers are to have a-lotl-fun while learning about AXOLOTLS!
I have been researching and preparing to care for my axolotls for close to 10 years. I am now lucky to share my home with 3 of these amazing amphibians. I have also been teaching live axolotl feedings on this platform since the beginning 2022. I'm so happy to share my love of amphibians with the Outschool community.
If the Crafts-a-lotl activity is selected, learners will each need the supplies below. Craft Template (Sent after enrollment and printed, on white cardstock if possible.) Crayons, markers, or colored pencils Age appropriate scissors. Glue Stick Additional supplies will vary based on age of learners and craft selection. More information will be provided during scheduling.
These amphibians will occasionally be eating live prey such as worms. Please prepare your learner for this if necessary. We may also discuss amphibian adaptations, excrement, and reproduction.
