Beginner Level
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated around the world on March 17th. Learn the history of why we celebrate St. Patrick's Day and the many ways that folks celebrate it through clothes, food, and activities. Learn ASL vocabulary while increasing retention of knowledge through visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. Experience ASL vocabulary through detailed explanations of hand signs and repetition. Class is 16 minutes. Students need no prior experience or knowledge. Come sign with me!

ASL helps students with multiple learning needs by reinforcing vocabulary. Research has shown incorporating sign language with spoken language improves comprehension, expression, and communication for special education learners.

I have taught Little Signers ASL to preschool and elementary students over the past 10 years. I have a Masters in Education: Curriculum & Instruction with certifications in K-6th, biology, and earth science. I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. I am a former public school teacher of 5 yrs and homeschool teacher of 10 yrs. I completed ASL I, II, III, & V in college and interpret for a Deaf family in church. I am also a 200 hr certified Yoga Teacher with additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mommy Me Yoga, and Prenatal Yoga. I also teach ASL in my Kids Yoga, Baby Toddler Me Yoga, and Baby Connections classes. In addition to teaching on Outschool, I teach a weekly live online Little Signers class. Reviews
