This 2 day lecture will provide an introduction to Psychology using a historical perspective and a brief overview of various sub-disciplines in the area of Psychology. This course is taught online (synchronous) using a PowerPoint presentation; however, my teaching style is fluid and adapts to the student's questions and interest. No prior experience or knowledge is required for this class. This class is structured to intrigue new students about Psychology. This course will not require assignments (unless asked for) or quizzes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the philosophical origins of Psychology.
Students will learn the history behind ethical research in Psychology
Students will be introduced to the sub-disciplines in Psychology

Parental Guidance
The course will introduce unethical research practices used which will be important for describing why the ethical review boards are important in research
Supply List
Students are encouraged to take notes; however, there is no assessments in this class due to the introduction aspect.
