Description

Class Experience

MTG is a highly social game that involves critical thinking, adaptability and strategy.  This class will go over the basic rules and abilities and teach learners the strategy of the game so that they can feel comfortable playing independently after this class.  We will discuss the basic rules around mana, life totals, power/toughness, creature abilities, sorceries, instant spells and how to use planeswalkers.  The class will focus on "Standard" format, but we can also discuss "Commander"...

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Magic the Gathering is a fantasy-based card game that depicts mild violence and other mild themes suitable in a PG setting. Please note that the game, Magic: The Gathering, is rated for children 13+
