In this club style class students will play Magic the Gathering in a 60 card "casual" format against other students or the instructor. This class is aimed at the beginning and intermediate level player level, with the instructor available to answer questions regarding rules, game mechanics, strategy, etc. Through game play, students will increase their Magic skills, while promoting positive social interactions, sportsmanship, critical thinking and other essential life skills. Learning Magic the Gathering is an ongoing process. Each game played will increase their skill level and knowledge of Magic. With over 20,000 different game pieces and hundreds of different game mechanics and abilities, each class is sure to increase their skill level.
