Class Experience

This class is designed to introduce the student to Billy's ongoing Creative Minecraft Realms. The student will learn how to join a Minecraft Realm, how to navigate the realm and the rules of Billy's ongoing Creative Minecraft class. 
I will give instructions on exactly how to do these things during this introduction class.
 
In my classes, I do my best to instruct the students but not to over-instruct them. I believe the more a student discovers on their own the more they remember it and own what they have learned.

Learning Goals

The goal is that the student will be able to join the ongoing creative Minecraft class without feeling the pressure of learning the initial parts of it in front of all the other students. They can enter the classroom with confidence!

Other Details

Parental Guidance
Before entering class each student must have Minecraft Bedrock Edition downloaded and updated. It must be attached to a Microsoft account with a gamer tag (name) ready. The settings should allow the students to join friends and realms. To join my realm we must be friends on Minecraft. Send a friend request to BouncyBasher8. Once each class begins the student will be invited into the realm using the realm code that will be provided at that time. Open the game then push play/friends/realms and then you will see where to enter the realm code. The realm code will be provided at the beginning of the class. After each class ends the student will be removed from the realm (as per Outscholl policy).

My name is Billy and I have been a professional builder and teacher for 25 years.  I have 3 adventurous sons who have been home-schooled and able to reach above grade level in all subjects. I also have been teaching children online for the last 7 years.  My family is always up for our next adventure!  We are currently living in our 3rd country and are loving learning about different cultures and people. As a lifelong learner myself, I strongly believe that learning should be fun and we should be able to see how it will apply in our lives, so this is the approach I take in my classroom. I have a bachelor's degree in teaching English online. Please join me for an exciting class that you won't soon forget.
