Don't have time to go to the library for story-time? Want your children to engage in learning but still enjoy being a kid? Then this class is for you! American Girl Book Club/Storytelling will be a series of classes. The first series will be about Kit Kittredge. This class is solely for Book 1: "Meet Kit- An American Girl" (1934) which is 68 pages in length. After this class, another class will be offered for Book 2, and so on. For each class, I will be reading the story to the children...
When I was a kid, I absolutely loved American Girls, reading through some of the series and playing with the dolls in their beds and clothes. My parents even made a school bus for them! My goal is to allow your child to love learning and reading at a young age.
It is optional for you to purchase the book for your child to look through as I read it, but not necessary. This book can be bought through eBay, Amazon, and other sites.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
3 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
The Great Depression and loss of jobs and houses are mentioned in the story.
