Class Experience

Beginner Level
Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class. Each lessons is 30 minutes to which you can pause and go back to whenever you want during the time of the course. There will be a total of 5 lessons.

Total time estimate for this self-paced course is 30 minutes x 5 lessons= 2.5 hours and then over 5 hours of crafts, coloring sheets, flashcards, and activities (if desired to use).

I will post the link to the lessons and optional homeworks or activities. There will be over 15 free coloring sheets, activities, and flashcard printouts! I will be able to reply back to questions through messages and comments but there will be no live meetings.

Optional homework:
We will do some written online discussions in the classroom including video or project completion, coloring activities, crafts for homework, a scavenger hunt, or another engaging and interactive activity (such as where do you see Rosso? in your house) for anyone who wants to participate to learn the material better.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Italian for Kids is a series of classes that include learning vocabulary. This course is based on Italian for Kids 1. Classes can be taken consecutively or not. We focus on vocabulary with some conversation (more focus on conversation is in Italian for Beginners and Italian for Teens).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lesson 1-5 include the following topics: greetings, colors, numbers 0-20, days of the week, seasons, and the months of the year

*Each time, we will review the vocabulary from the last lesson.
*Students will be given a PDF, fun worksheets, or colorings after each class, in order to review if they would like to. Homework is optional.

I will have more Italian self-paced classes coming soon!
------------------------------------------
(If you have older students, I have other Italian classes too: Italian for Beginners).

*Also you can request more self-paced courses if desired.

Profile
Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree from North Carolina State University
I have been teaching on Outschool since December 2018, teaching over 1,000 learners so far with the majority of those classes being Italian courses for ages 3-16.

I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. In high school, I took Spanish, and at university, I learned up through Intermediate level in Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn Italian language by making it fun and engaging through my teaching style, print offs, and Quizlets games.
