Description
Class Experience
Building confidence is key to any foreign language, and that is what I will be doing through this class. If you wanted siblings/ friends/ or cousins to take this class together, then the price and spots available can be adjusted (just message me). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For these private one on one lessons, you will message me the level of where your student is at (even if they've never taken Italian) and...
Gaining confidence and having fun learning Italian
I believe that taking foreign language classes opens the doors to many opportunities. In high school, I took Spanish, and at university, I took up through Intermediate level in Italian. I now give students the opportunity to learn Italian language by making it fun and engaging through my teaching style, print offs, and Quizlets games. I have been teaching basic through intermediate Italian courses for over 3 years involving basic conversation skills, grammar (present indicative, passato prossimo, conjugating verbs with pronouns, adjectives reflecting the correct the-- as there are 7 the's in Italian, and more), as well as vocabulary and fairytale reading classes to make the lanuage to come to life in a fun way.
Students may be given Quizlets to review to information learned; however, we won't use Quizlets in class. This is optional homework. If students want to print off materials I add in the class, then a printer and paper will be useful. Some students like to take notes (though not required, it may help) and for that they will need a notebook and pen or pencil.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
None. Except, I can give direction of what Italian course I'd suggest your student taking next if desired.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I have some sources listed in the sources section that we might use during class-- such as YouTube videos and Nearpod-- and also sources that I may put as links for your student to use based on what they are learning-- YouTube videos, Nearpod audio/ games/ presentation to review, Quizlet games to review, Google Drive to see pdfs to print, etc. Students do not have to use these sources as I can just attach a pdf or jpg of what we learned to print off. Students also do not need accounts for any of these sources except Quizlet if they want to save their scores which can be rewarding: but they won't use Quizlet during class, only as a review of material learned.
