I am offering this class specifically for students who have already taken my "Aloha! Learning the Ukulele for Beginners" one-time class. In that class we learned how to play 3 chords along with some practice techniques. In this class we will advance to a new set of chords that fit within the original 3 you already learned, and are all related to the key of C "chord progression." Students will learn how to play the G, D, and B7 chords. Students will also learn new strumming techniques and how to count out their rhythms.
I am hoping that the many students who have taken my first class, or any other students who are familiar with the C, F, and A minor chords, will want to advance to the next level. I've been playing stringed instruments most of my life and have Master of Educational Science. The kids always seem to have a great time with my props, fun approach, and encouraging style.

5 files available upon enrollmentMaterials and preparation instructions will be posted in the classroom discussion area. A pick is preferred but not necessary. A parent or guardian should be present to assist the child if necessary.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will need a parent, guardian, or older sibling to assist with finger placement and to ensure the ukulele is in tune prior to class.
