Using instruction, slides, images, video clips, maps, and some teacher/student interaction, we will cover the following items: - a basic timeline of early Pennyslvania history -important historic figures of Pennsylvania such as William Penn, Benjamin Franklin, and more -state symbols, such as the state bird, flower, tree, flag, seal, etc. -significant geographic locations, such as major cities, major rivers, mountains, borders, landmarks, and more No prior knowledge of Pennsylvania is required.
