As a classroom teacher for 15 years and an online teacher for 4 years, I have had the opportunity to teach children from K-8 grade on many different subjects. One of my favorite subjects to teach is science. I have taught students about different animals, including sharks, and the conservations efforts to protect them. I have taken my fifth grade students on many field trips to the bay where we have learned and had hands-on experience with marine animal habitats.
